THE VILLAGE OF TRIMLEY ST MARY LIES JUST TO THE NORTH WEST OF THE TOWN AND PORT OF FELIXSTOWE, CLOSE TO THE SUFFOLK COAST AND THE RIVER ORWELL.
Trimley Station offers direct trains to Ipswich (under 25 minutes journey time) for connecting services to Colchester, Chelmsford, Stratford and London – Liverpool Street.
The A14 is immediately accessible and runs between Felixstowe and the Midlands passing Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge along the way whilst also connecting with the A12 at Ipswich for journeys to Colchester, Chelmsford, the M25 and North East London. Stansted Airport can be reached via the A120 from Colcheste.
Trimley St Mary Primary School is located within the village with further schools for all ages located in nearby Walton and Felixstowe. The village has a number of local businesses including a convenience store and public house with more extensive facilities available in both Felixstowe and Ipswich.
Set in an area of open countryside there are a number of local walks around the village including the nature reserve at Trimley Marshes on the River Orwell Estuary and also the outstanding Suffolk Coast Path not far away which runs from Landguard Fort, Felixstowe up to Lowestoft.
